I am a dedicated and dynamic individual currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance at the University of York in the UK. I am a motivated social entrepreneur and digital marketer. I founded and successfully led the Eeager Salone Investment (SL) Ltd. These ventures focus on supporting underprivileged communities through various initiatives, including agriculture, entrepreneurship, renewable energy and Digital Marketing to create numerous jobs and eradicate poverty.
My Story
After completing high school, I dedicated myself to serving my
community as a volunteer teacher at KPM and SDA High Schools in Waterloo.
My passion for education and commitment to my students
were recognized when I was honored as the Best Teacher of the Year.
This award not only validated my efforts but also ignited a deeper
desire to make a lasting impact on my community.

Despite this achievement, my journey was filled with challenges.
I received a scholarship to study in the UK, which required me to
take online classes. However, the lack of reliable electricity in my
community made this an arduous task. Every day, I walked two
miles to the nearest town in search of power to attend my classes.
This daily struggle highlighted the significant barriers faced by many
in my community.

These challenges underscored the critical need for a reliable source
of power. I decided to address this issue by establishing a solar power
supply center. This initiative aims to provide consistent and sustainable
electricity to my community, ensuring that others do not have to face the
same obstacles I encountered.

Through this endeavor, I hope to empower my community, enhance
educational opportunities, drive sustainable development, create
employment, and eradicate poverty in Sierra Leone. My journey from
a volunteer teacher to running a solar power supply company is a
testament to the resilience and determination that can turn adversity
into positive change.
